  • Project Art Works

This Christmas we have teamed up with @projectartworks who are an artist led organisation that works in collaboration with disabled people across the UK and internationally.

Established in 1997, Project Art Works has worked with thousands of people with complex needs and continues to offer support and friendship to them and their families.

Meet some of their regular artists:

#SiddharthGadiyar is an artist of instinct. He is an extraordinary and prolific image maker who paints large scale works that he exhibited in his first solo exhibition in 2019.

#MarionWillis works across a range of media including drawing, painting, animation, film and photography. She also creates self-portraits using video and paints directly onto projections and surfaces with a loose gestural action.

#SharifPersaud is particularly interested in film and photography and has completed several film projects including The Mask featuring Al Murray. Sharif’s drawings and paintings explore identity through his experience of contemporary life and autism.

#JosephGoldman brings a vibrant energy to the studio as he explores and creates vivid and lively pieces of graphic work.

#EdenKötting loves to paint objects that she has chosen for Still Life but sometimes she chooses to paint images from her imagination. Her visual impairment influences the way she perceives the world around her.

  • Battersea Dogs and Cats

Battersea Dogs and Cats care for over three million vulnerable animals and believe that every dog and cat deserves the best. That’s why their expert staff and highly-trained volunteers do everything they can to make all their animals healthy and lovable.

Battersea has always been funded by public donations. It is thanks to the generosity of animal lovers everywhere that they have been able to protect the happiness and dignity of dogs and cats, and can continue to do so.

  • Shelter

The people @sheltercharity help weren’t always homeless. They became homeless because the system failed them.

Last Christmas Limarra was homeless, but your support means that this year she and her daughter are decorating a Christmas tree in their own living room 🎄

People who find themselves homeless all have a past and future dreams. Whatever you do to support Shelter – follow, donate, volunteer, sign a petition – you help people get back to a good place.
